Almost a week gone.

You have to fight for additional income and justify why you deserve it. Although you are doing a good job the competition is fierce and you must understand that employers have to get the best return on their money. You may begrudge this probably because you haven't put yourself in their shoes. If you do so you'll get much more clarity and be less bothered by the process involved in becoming a wealthier person.
